Funding Land Management projects
The Alinytjara Wilurara (AW) Landscape Board can assist community groups and individuals to develop proposals and seek funding for projects that focus on improving natural resources in the AW region.
Projects can focus on:
- investigating, monitoring and protecting native species, ecosystems and their threats
- trialling and demonstrating new technologies and management techniques which improve the health of Country
- raising awareness of issues effecting Country
- on-ground actions that improve the health of and reduce threats to the region's biodiversity.

NR AW receives funds from the Federal Government (Department of Environment) to undertake ecological management programs across the AW region.
We have long standing successful relationships with the region's Community leaders and are well positioned to negotiate with relevant Landholders and partnering bodies regarding how work might be done. This includes employment of local people and skill development.
The AW Landscape Board is made up of Aboriginal leaders who represent communities across the AW region
