Protect and Regenerate Endemic Vegetation (PREV) project

The 'Protect and Regenerate Endemic Vegetation (PREV)' project engaged with community and land managers to directly address and remedy threatening processes affecting:

Surveying of both woodland communities and the Whibley Wattle populations has now concluded, significantly improving our collective understanding of the extent and condition of these important habitats.

Community involvement

This project would have not been possible, or indeed as successful, without the support and involvement of local community and land managers. The EP NRM Board and staff wish to express their thanks to all involved.

You may wish to review our photo gallery in Flickr, or review your own notes taken after attended one of the free EP Blue Gum Woodland workshops in Wangary, Yallunda Flat and Cleve in 2019 (or download this factsheet).

Of course while these project funds may have concluded momentarily for these important woodlands and flora species it does not mean the communication has to end. We welcome you to add your name to our mailing list by email DEW.NREPAdmin@sa.gov.au and writing in the subject line 'I would like to receive more information on the PREV project' and we'll be in touch.
